If you want robust, healthy shoulders, stop doing overhead presses. While this exercise has a time and place, you’re likely neglecting key stability muscles which are causing you to be far more injury-prone than you’d like to admit. No matter how strong your deltoid muscles may feel, you’ll always be limited by the smaller players within the shoulder complex that get left behind. This will inhibit your performance in sports and throughout life as you struggle through daily tasks.

Although subtle, this will have a huge impact on a healthy scapulohumeral rhythm and your overall confidence with upper body movement.
Without further ado, let’s jump into this brilliant hack for better shoulders!
