While you may think that balance training is single-dimensional, there is an endless list of health benefits if you approach it creatively. It boosts functional strength and endurance. It increases independence and satisfaction with activities of daily life. It improves gait health and proprioception, all while reducing fall risks and general injuries. I could go on and on, but I think you get the point.

No matter what occupations and activities you may find yourself doing, it’s safe to say that investing in balance training is worth your time and energy. To help you get the most out of this work, I want to introduce three movements that prove just how diverse balance exercises can be. These are movements I’ve been prescribing to physical rehab clients for years and they are immensely beneficial for virtually all walks of life!
