I encourage you to take a moment to view the core in a different light. While it’s often associated with aesthetic appeal, there’s more to the story than that. The core is the very foundation that helps the rest of the body operate optimally and requires consistent training to remain functional. Each time you take a step or bend over to pick something up, the core is firing to help support your every move.

While there are hundreds of methods for strengthening this area, I want to share a few variations of one of my all-time favorite core exercises that’s likely going under your radar. This will help you diversify your exercise regime and challenge your core in a way that truly fosters function and stability.
