When was the last time you focused on joint stability in your training? While many of us strive to get stronger and more flexible, building stability in joints is rarely a priority for most gymgoers. While it may not have the immediate aesthetic effect that many of us are after, it’s still of crucial importance for injury prevention and overall function. In other words, you won’t be able to fully optimize your strength and flexibility gains until you add stability to the equation!
A huge barrier for most people is that they don’t know where to even begin to build up better stability. Fortunately, that’s where I come in as your resident kinesiologist on this platform. I’ve already done the work to put together a 5-minute routine that you can do almost anywhere! While some of these movements are slightly more advanced, they will be accessible to virtually everyone if you pace yourself and do your due diligence.
