If you’ve spent any time online, you’ve likely seen a social media post or Youtube ad telling you to fix your muscle imbalances. Influencers are constantly giving tips on how they have achieved perfect symmetry for maximal aesthetic and health benefits. Unfortunately, this sought-after physique doesn’t exist. Furthermore, this chase after perfection is only feeding lies, giving you stress, and making uneducated people rich.

While I rarely take such a defensive stance as a health professional and writer, I’ve come across so much faulty content around this area lately that it needs to be addressed. You having muscle or joint imbalances does not mean you’re broken and need fixing.
