Do you struggle with knee pain while working out or playing sports? You’re not alone. High-impact activities like running, jumping, and cutting put a lot of force through the tendons of your knee, and when your body isn’t prepared, it can lead to pain and lingering soreness. While you may think that ice and rest are the answers, there’s a much better way!

Strengthening exercises will be important to increase your tendon's ability to handle the high-impact forces of your activities. However, your work shouldn’t end there. Once the patellar tendon is strong, it will be important to reintroduce plyometrics gradually. This can be done by modifying exercises to include hops and by training your jumping & landing technique.
