It’s no secret that prolonged sitting can cause pain and stiffness around key areas like the back and hips. What’s less known, however, is just how easy it can be to erase these effects in a few minutes per day. While many people look to static stretches to relieve their misery, I have three dynamic movements that will be much more impactful in the long run.

My challenge to you is to try these 2–3 times per day. Yes, it’s a commitment that will take some effort and time on your end, but the rewards will be 10x greater than the work you have to put in. I’ve trained with back and hip pain clients for years, and I can confidently say that it’s the ones who are consistent with simple mobility drills that report the least amount of pain over time. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: movement is medicine.

Are you ready to sacrifice a few minutes of your day to live with less pain?
