If You Could Only Pick One Shoulder Exercise To Do…

As a kinesiologist, I would strongly recommend this one!

We often have it backward when it comes to strengthening the shoulders. As this joint is quite anatomically vulnerable compared to the other ball and socket of the hip, we must address the most susceptible ranges of motions here first. Unfortunately, most of us focus all of our time and energy on shoulder presses and lateral raises to develop the big deltoid muscle. While this can pay off aesthetically, you will be prone to injury and weaknesses if you don’t address the smaller rotator cuff muscles that work to keep everything in harmony.

Today I want to fix this by introducing one exercise that can take your weakest, most vulnerable tissues at the shoulder and turn them into strong, mobile powerhouses. Not only will this help you stay injury-free, but it will also support your weightlifting journey as you continue with your heavier lifts. The great thing about movements like this is that you don’t have to choose between doing strength or mobility training. You can do it all at once! Let me show you how this is possible.

One Shoulder Exercise to Rule Them All

Before we get started, please realize that this is just one movement of many great shoulder exercises…
