How well are you taking care of your lower body health? Do you have pain and stiffness in your joints or do you feel mobile and strong? This simple exercise test will answer all of these questions in less than 30 seconds. As a kinesiologist and trainer, three of the most misunderstood regions of the body I see are the hips, knees, and ankles. While many of us love to train the quads and hamstrings, these joints and tissues often get neglected, leading to injuries and chronic pain.

This isn’t necessarily our fault, however, as we’ve been taught for years that putting these regions in vulnerable positions is a bad idea. Ironically, we now know that it’s the very act of stretching and challenging your joints beyond their comfort zone that will bulletproof these areas and ensure you stay both injury-free and strong.

Today I want to cover an epic movement pattern that will challenge your lower body to the max. If you can pull it off, you can rest assured that your lower body is in a good place.
