How To Manipulate Your Hips without a Chiropractor

You can do this at home in 5 minutes to transform your mobility!

Whether you’re struggling with hip impingement or general pain and stiffness, one thing is for certain: you can’t expect real relief until you get your hips moving. Sure, a chiropractor can ‘manipulate you back into shape’ and temporarily free up some mobility, but this is rarely a sustainable solution. Shockingly to many, static stretching isn’t the answer either. While we often have this perception that stretching muscles will relieve tension and pain, you must go a step further to get to the bottom of the issue.

This is where banded and loaded strength exercises come in. The options above don’t work because you’re not making lasting changes to your tissues’ strength and composition. Through the right loaded movements, however, you can distract the hip to fool the nervous system into deepening your range of motion where it feels most painful or restrictive. This is achieved by loading up the hip tissues through various planes of movement to increase blood flow, muscle pliability, and overall function.
