Due to the countless barriers we face daily, it can be hard to find time and motivation to move our bodies. Other responsibilities get in the way and we put health and wellness practices to the wayside. My job and joy as a kinesiologist is to help make daily movement more accessible to help you reduce sedentary-related pain and stiffness in your life. While it can feel overwhelming to add one more ‘to-do’ to your long list of duties, I’m confident that the simple program below will open your eyes to just how accessible and transformational small bouts of movement can be.

One barrier I often face is my client’s understanding of what physical activity is. We often only categorize it as an organized sport or bout of exercise, limiting creativity with how to implement it in the smaller, tighter corners of our day. While you may feel like 5 minutes of mobility work is trivial, I encourage you to think again. Stacking reps of these simple stretches day after day will elicit transformative results for both your occupational health and general wellness.
