How To Completely Unlock Your Shoulders, Spine, & Hips in Minutes
If you don’t do anything else…please do these nine stretches!

The shoulders, spine, and hips are three of the most infamous areas for injuries and stiffness. As a kinesiologist, I spend most of my time helping clients dig themselves out of restriction and pain at these joints. While it’s my joy to do this work, I’m constantly reminded how avoidable these complications are if we were to do a few mobility exercises daily.
Whether you’re deep in pain or you’re ready to get proactive about your joint health, I want to take a few moments today and give you some practical tips for staving off stiffness and maximizing your function. Even if you were to spend 5–10 minutes per day on these exercises, your body will be completely transformed over time. If that isn’t a worthy time investment for your long-term health, I don’t know what is. Let’s dive right into it! Better health is just around the corner.
Free Up Your Tightest Joints Through Movement
Before getting started, please be aware that this guide is targeted towards apparently healthy individuals who are struggling with everyday aches and pains. If you have a history of severe musculoskeletal pain or chronic conditions, please talk to a healthcare provider before getting started to ensure you’re safe to try new movements. To help you warm up, I have a light warm-up guide for you here. For the best results, please do all of these together!
When it comes to mobility training, timing is crucial. Whether you’re a morning lark or not, I encourage you to do this first thing in the morning so that you not only build better mobility in the long term but can also experience an improved range of motion and decreased stiffness throughout your full day. Once you make it a habit, it will become like second nature!
Below you’ll find three exercises for each respective area. The entire program should take you no longer than 10 minutes to complete once you get the hang of it. Without further ado, let’s jump into the exercises! ⤵️
