5 Simple Movement Patterns That All Seniors Can Benefit From
These will help you feel stronger and younger quickly!
As a trainer and kinesiologist, most of my work revolves around doing prehab or rehab training with adults and seniors. After years of encountering virtually every population type, I’ve begun to pick up what separates fit older adults from those who decide to pack it in early. To put it simply, they don’t underestimate their physical abilities. They try. And although it may sound cliché, they don’t let age define them.
Instead of saying “Well, I’m getting older…I can’t because…It’s too dangerous…”, just try moving and do it often. You’ll be shocked to see just how far you can go.
Today I want to break down a little program that can help you maintain strength, mobility, cardiovascular health, and overall fitness as you age. Although it only takes about 5 minutes to complete, it has the power to drastically improve joint health while lowering injury risks. Furthermore, it can give you the spike of energy and motivation you need for whatever you have to tackle on any given day. If you want to stay thriving deep into your later years, this is for you.
