If you’ve ever struggled with back pain, you know how quickly it can sneak up on you. It’s one of the great health mysteries, leaving many seemingly healthy patients utterly confused about what went wrong. A couple of days ago I was served a slice of humble pie as a severe bout of mid-back pain came out of nowhere. While it was quite discouraging to be on the patient side of things again, I was excited to put some of the principles I preach into practice.
The result? In around 24 hours, I went from barely being able to get out of bed to doing a 6-mile running workout.
