Shins splints can feel like a never-ending curse. If you’ve ever experienced them, you know exactly what I’m talking about. Don’t worry, however. Getting you back on track doesn’t have to be rocket science. Outlined below are 5 tips for shin splint rehab/management. You may be surprised at just how easy it can be to restore health to the shins when you take a more active approach. We’ve been making this process way harder than it has to be, but it’s never too late to turn this ship around.

Outside-the-Box Moves to Cure Your Shin Splints

As you complete these movements, keep in mind that they can feel challenging, but they should never be overwhelmingly painful. If a specific exercise isn’t feeling right, move on to the next one. I advise my clients to go no further than a 4/10 on a pain scale (10 being the worst pain you’ve experienced in your life).

Keep in mind that there are many exercises for shin splints. This program is just a starting point for those who are looking to rehab and prevent this injury. Let’s dive in!
