One of the most effective ways to work out is to prioritize function. Just think about what you put your body through daily. Sitting for hours on end. Lifting heavy boxes or heaving a backpack over your shoulder. Perhaps it’s carrying a child on your hip. The specific stressors that you put your body through daily should form the basis for your training regime in the gym. Only then will you feel pain-free and fully equipped to move through life without restriction.
