As a kinesiologist and trainer, I see one peculiar trend every year. When the sun rolls around and Summer gets started, consistency in the gym takes a dive. Whether you’re out of rhythm with vacations or you simply want to be outside more, it’s key to not let go of your fitness routine entirely. Even the smallest workouts can play an important role in maintaining your momentum and health in these hit-or-miss months.

To help you keep things up as we dive into July, I want to break down one of my favorite banded routines that hits most of our major muscles and joints in mere minutes. This can serve as a fantastic fun way to break up prolonged periods of sitting at work, or it can be a standalone program during your vacation. Feel free to also use it as a warm-up before bigger lifting or running sessions. Wherever you find yourself this Summer, include this into your routine 3–4 times per week for amazing results!
