Can you survive to the end of this routine with good form?
Mobility training is a surefire way to decrease stiffness and elevate function. To make this training as accessible as possible, I want to introduce 3 succinct, comprehensive mobility challenges that will challenge your whole body in mere minutes. The idea here is that if you can complete all three of these movements without major difficulties, you’re mobility is in a good place and you’re less likely to be hit with common stiffness and injuries in everyday life.
While this can be a bit of an oversimplification as everyone’s health journey is dynamic, I’ve been prescribing these exercises for years and they serve as a fantastic screening method for predicting joint-related complications. Even if you can’t complete them all with ‘perfect form’, the simple pursuit of enhancing your function in these tissues will have lasting effects on your health and wellness.
Conquer Everyday Tightness with These 3 Moves
Before we dive into any exercises, it’s important to ensure you’re ready to get to work. If you have any injuries or chronic conditions that may put you at risk during physical activity, please talk to a trusted health provider before getting started. Please do your due diligence with exercise clearance to ensure you’re protecting yourself from pain and injury.
As these exercises aren’t as strenuous as resistance exercises, feel free to try them once a day once you’re cleared for activity. While even one bout of exercise can provide a transformative stimulus to ignite rehab, it’s the compounding effect of day after day that will elicit sustainable results.
